Serves 2 | Cooking time: 25 minutes

Ingredients

  • 5 cups of milk
  • 1 tbsp. of pure sahlab
  • 1 tbsp. of rose water
  • ½ cup of sugar
  • 1 tbsp. of mastic powder

Recipe

Place and mix all the ingredients into a plot, and let it set over a medium flame until the Sahlab starts to boil.  Reduce to low flame for 2 minutes, and make sure to stir throughout the process.  You can add cinnamon powder and crushed pistachios as toppings. (optional)
